Associates Degree in related field. Three years relevant administrative assistant experience or experience in a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Performs advanced administrative assistant duties for the Department of Counselor Education.
Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):
Performs advanced administrative assistant duties. Provides departmental or university information to students, departments, and staff. Assists in developing policies and interprets policies and procedures. Schedules appointments and activities. Compiles, tracks, and reviews data and reports. Attends meetings and takes notes. Prepares, reviews, revises and distributes documents and correspondence. Orders and maintains supply inventory. Handles budget matters including purchasing, P-Card purchases, and monitors expenses. Prepares reports and correspondence for the Department Chair. Performs other related duties as assigned.
