Summary
Briercrest Seminary invites applications for a permanent full position of Assistant Professor of Couple and Family Therapy for the Counselling Department. This position will teach a full-time load including on campus and online instruction. This will be an on-campus or remote position commencing August 1, 2025 (on-campus preferred). This position will work Monday to Friday daytime hours based on Saskatchewan time zone.
The successful candidate will be a proficient therapist and educator, and a self-starter with strong organizational, teaching, and interpersonal skills. Candidates must possess a PhD in a counselling related field (those in process will be considered). Candidates should have RMFT membership with the Canadian Association of Couple and Family Therapy (CACFT). Preference will be given to applicants with supervisor training and status. Applicants must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ethical behaviour. Primary responsibilities of this role will include teaching assigned courses and and other department responsibilities.
