The Department of Psychological Studies in Education in the College of Education and Human Development at Temple University is seeking to fill an Assistant Professor of Instruction (non-tenure track) faculty position in Human Services and School Counseling or School Psychology beginning August 2023. The compelling candidate will be able to meet key instructional needs for the Human Services courses taken by Human Development and Community Engagement (HDCE) undergraduate students as well as School Counseling courses taken by Counseling Psychology graduate students or behaviorally oriented courses in the School Psychology graduate programs. Ideally, the candidate for this position will have specialized training in school counseling or school psychology as well as Human Services expertise. Required qualifications are an earned doctorate and certification in School or Counseling Psychology or a relevant field, and experience in teaching university-level courses. Experience working with community organizations or a BCBA credential is preferred.
